    FANTASTIC!
    My mother and I had been looking for scanner only systems because we already have a printer. We decided to go with this one and we are glad we did! We never realized how much a scanner could come in handy! Definitely buy this if you are on the bridge of deciding!


    Works As Advertised!
    Canon LIDE 100 worked as described. Very easy to hook up and get running. Takes just a few minutes. Began scanning pictures for use in my genealogy research. Scanned everything flawlessly, and now have them included with the appropriate ancestors in my file. Did exactly what I needed to do without any hassles. Now when I double click on one of the pictures in the file, it comes up looking like it did when scanned. Very pleased!

    Fantastic Scanner
    I was able to scan old pictures literally within minutes after taking this thing out of the box. Not needing electric is a huge plus; the ease of just popping the usb port into my laptop is fantastic. I visited my parents and took my laptop and scanner along with me (both fit very easily into my tote bag) and I was able to go through old family photo albums and scan the pictures I wanted to keep. I've also scanned documents, which is fine, but the big seller here is the photo scanning. The clarity is amazing. I highly recommend this scanner.


    Great Basic Scanner
    I wanted a cheap, basic scanner for documents and photos. I got both those attributes, together with ease of use and remarkably high quality in the scanned results. Couldn't be happier with the choice!
