Exactly what I needed.
This product works EXACTLY as advertised. Reliable, flexible, great sound, great range. I have a home office. I paired this with an AT&T DECT headset. Base is 30 ft. away on second floor. No problem. Pair these with a low-cost dialer program for your computer and a modem, and you don't even need a handset. Just use the headset. Perfect!

AT&T DECT 6.0 Digital Four Hanset Cordless Phone-Excellent
We have had this phone set for over one year. Great features. Long range. An excellent phone system.

So far, so good
I haven't had a chance to test the battery life, since we don't make long phone calls and the remotes always sit in their chargers.
Since the caller ID system from the phone company always sends the time and date, I wonder why these machines (and all of the others I've used) don't reset the time automatically when there's an incoming call. Granted, it wouldn't know the time for awhile after a power outage; but since the time only matters when you get an incoming call, that doesn't seem like much of a limitation.
Other than that, everything seems fine.

After a long search...
This is the best. Easy to use, easy to set up, easy to see all the buttons. Didn't even need the optional filter even though it's set up right next to my dsl service. Super easy call waiting, great intercom system. Crystal clear reception.
Had a couple of Panasonics before this, last one went kaput after about three months -- couldn't hold a charge for more than a few hours on standby, never could find the right little button for call waiting!
Had this new phone for about a week, hope it keeps up the good work! Love it!
